About

Dhamma Sukha Austin is a small but dedicated group of meditators who meet weekly to support each others practice.

Our group facilitators have teacher training from the Dhamma Sukha Meditation Center in Missouri and practice Tranquil Wisdom Insight Meditation.

If you’d like to learn TWIM they can assist with that, but if you already have a practice they are happy to support that in any way.

TWIM

Tranquil Wisdom Insight Meditation is a set of meditation instructions developed directly from the earliest records of the historical Buddha - the Pali Canon suttas.

The goal of TWIM is to distill the teachings of the Buddha into an accessible and simple style of meditation that is easy and enjoyable to practice.

TWIM is a great practice for anyone who has tried meditation and found it to be difficult.

“Good friends, companions, and comradery are the whole of the spiritual life.

A practitioner with good friends, companions, and comradery can expect to develop and cultivate the noble eightfold path…

right perspective, right intention, right communication, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, and right collectedness…”
